Glen Andrew Bush, of West Bay, was found to be in contempt of court, after he made several outbursts while before Magistrate Foldats yesterday.
The defendant appeared in court Monday on charges of threats to kill and insulting the modesty of a woman in relation to a July 2017 incident, in which Bush threatened to kill his wife.
As the court heard details of the July 2017 incident, Bush protested, yelling “man this isn’t right, why they saying this.”
Bush, who had been married for three years to his wife, threatened to kill her in her sleep after she returned to Cayman from Jamaica in July.
It is alleged the incident occurred during a domestic dispute.
The outbursts resulted in bail being denied and a 7 day sentence for his unbecoming courtroom behavior.
