(CMR) The police issued a statement that they have now arrested the man involved in a video that has gone viral on social media.
CMR sources indicated that Adam Bodden (33) was to be arrested in relation to the matter from this morning.
RCIPS have stated that just after 11:50PM on Saturday 22 September, police were made aware of a video that was posted on social media on a plaza off West Bay. The video showed a man being assaulted by another man in the parking lot of this plaza.
The suspect was also heard in the video making threats to man while assaulting him. Several persons were also seen in the video observing the incident taking place. After receiving the report and the footage of the incident, an immediate investigation was launched into the matter.
Just before 2PM today, 24 September, Police arrested the suspect in this matter a 33 year-old-man from West Bay on suspicion of assault abh, affray and damage to property. The man is currently in custody as the investigation progresses.
Superintendent Robert Graham states
“The behaviour displayed in this video is not only alarming but also clearly unlawful. Such anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated, and any such reports that we are made aware of will be dealt with in accordance with the law.”

Further to the below, the man, age 33 of West Bay, who was arrested in relation to the below incident, has now been formally charged with Assault ABH. He is expectd to appear in court this afternoon, 26 September.
