(CMR) The 25-year-old man involved in the serious collision on Mangrove Avenue on 24 March is now deceased after succumbing to his injuries yesterday, 29 March.
Police have confirmed his identity as Mr. Brendon Lee Gayle, a Jamaican National residing in the Cayman Islands.
Reports are that shortly after 3 am, Thursday, 24 March, emergency services responded to a single-vehicle collision on Mangrove Avenue, Prospect. The crash occurred when the vehicle was traveling north on Mangrove Avenue before veering off the roadway into a fence and colliding with a utility pole.
Gayle, the lone occupant, sustained serious injuries and was transported to George Town Hospital.
