(CMR) A man remains in hospital following a crash on Thursday (July 9) on Hell Road in the vicinity of Fountain Road.
Reports from the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) are that a Honda motor car had been travelling eastbound when it collided with a dirt bike that had been travelling westbound.
Both vehicles received major damage.
Emergency Services attended the scene and the rider of the dirt bike was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital to be treated for what appears to be serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
He remains in hospital in stable condition.
A 26-year-old man of a George Town address, the driver of the Honda, did not have a license and was arrested on suspicion of driving without being qualified.
He was later granted bail.
The passenger of the vehicle was warned for intended prosecution for permitting a person to drive without being qualified.
The matter is under investigation.
