(CMR) A man is now in hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed in West Bay on Saturday.
Police reports are that just before 11 pm on Saturday 8 January, police and other emergency services were dispatched to Birch Tree Hill Road, near Rev. Blackman Road, where it was reported that a man was stabbed at the location.
Officers attended the scene and located the injured man who was lying on the ground and being assisted by a member of the public. The man was transported to the hospital by the ambulance, where he is currently being treated for what is believed to be serious injuries but is presently in a stable condition.
The incident is being investigated by the police, and detectives are seeking the assistance of the public to gather information regarding this incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the West Bay Police Station at 949-3999.
