(CMR) A man was badly injured and had to be treated at hospital on Wednesday, 2 February after he was hit in the head by another on a worksite.
Reports are that just after 8:40 am, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to Kentsville Drive in George Town, where it was reported that two men were fighting on a worksite. One of the men was struck in the head with an object by the other.
The injured man was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where he was treated for serious but non-life-threatening-injuries and later discharged. A 54-year-old-man of George Town was arrested on suspicion of Assault Grievous Bodily Harm and later bailed pending further investigation.
