(CMR) A 97-year-old West Bay seaman was assaulted by his own son late this evening at his residence off Watercourse Road. The police are said to be looking for the Public Works Department employee who remains at large.
Exclusive CMR sources have indicated that the 58-year-old son was approached about some concerns over the “forging of signatures” on documents. The accusations sent him into a rage and he attacked his father by body-slamming him to the ground causing bruising on both arms and his palm. The police were immediately called and other relatives are now requesting a restraining order.
The son was said to be “sharpening his machete and screaming obscenities” before driving off in his silver Ford Explorer. Sources familiar with the situation said he is to be considered armed and dangerous.
