Sadly he is not well and his family is trying to find out more about his condition and what precisely may have happened.
Thank you all for everyone who shared the post. CMR is attempting to get assitance to the family so that they can speak with the doctors. However, today is a public holiday in Jamaica and we have been told that no physicians are available.
(CMR) Graham Bentley (45), a Cayman resident of 22 years, has gone missing in Kingston, Jamaica after traveling to visit the British Embassy there last week. There is an urgent plea being sent out to anyone who may have any details that can assist in locating Bentley.
Bentley's overseas family is extremely concerned about his whereabouts after he arrived in Jamaica on Monday, October 14 at the Norman Manley International Airport around 6:45 pm.
It is uncertain what accommodations Bentley booked for himself. His embassy appointment was scheduled for earlier on Tuesday morning; as he was booked to return to Cayman on the 3:30 pm KX 2601 flight. However, he did not return and no one has heard from him since earlier on Sunday when he spoke to his wife.
Bentley's wife lives in the Dominican Republic and the purpose of his trip was to attempt to secure her papers to reside in the Cayman Islands.
Bentley is originally from Stonehouse Lanarkshire, Scotland and works at Elite Granite. So far, the British Embassy has confirmed that he has not been arrested nor is he hospitalized at any known facility in Jamaica.
Bentley was married earlier this year and has a toddler with his wife. He also goes by the nickname “Chiz”.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Bentley is asked to immediately contact the authorities in Jamaica, Cayman or provide any tips that may be useful.
One eyewitness has contacted CMR to confirm that he was seen on the Monday flight but appeared to be struggling. They shared that he even found it difficult to turn on the light in the plane without trembling.
Apparently, he had recently been injured at work and was having some difficulty walking in the airport as well. He was last observed going to the restroom by himself. There are some concerns that perhaps he was picked up by a rogue taxicab.
