Miracle Brokers: Ready to ship Balikbayan boxes!

(CMR) The Filipino community in the Cayman Islands is being reminded to contact local brokerage, shipping and logistics company Miracle Brokers International (MBI) to get their balikbayan boxes ready for the upcoming holiday season.

The call is out for the final shipment for 2020 as the deadline quickly approaches!

MBI has been offering the service for a number of years now in its ongoing partnership with the Filipino community to assist them in having a convenient, hassle-free way to send packages home to loved ones.

A “balikbayan box” is the Filipino term literally meaning “repatriate box”. In Tagalog, one of the main languages of the Philippines, “balikbayan” means returning to one's country.

The boxes are sent by sea freight in a consolidated container and unloaded for distribution by an MBI team in the Philippines. MBI is proud to be able to continue this service even during difficult financial times.

Erick Arch spreads the word about this excellent service

MBI manager, Erick Arch, shared that he was pleased they are able to continue to offer this service during the COVID-19 pandemic. He shared his commitment to the service recently during an interview at his Kingbird Road office:

“We are pleased that even during COVID-19 we have a dedicated team both in the Cayman Islands and in the Philippines that makes this possible. So many people are enduring hardships at the moment and receiving a balikbayan box, no matter how big or small will make all the difference to them.”

The boxes are a cost-effective way to send home Christmas gifts, school supplies or general dry goods to family and friends.

Due to the length of time required for sea freight deliveries and clearance the Cayman Filipino community is being encouraged to make immediate contact with MBI at (345) 949-5989 or email to purchase their boxes and get them packed and ready for shipping.
