(CMR) Popular dancehall entertainer Tommy Lee Sparta is expected to spend the holidays in police lock-up after he was arrested on Monday afternoon (December 14).
According to Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, the entertainer was detained after he was allegedly found with an illegal 9mm pistol and ammunition.
Sparta, whose real name is Leroy Russell, was arrested along with six others during police operations in the corporate area.
The entertainer was previously incarcerated between July 7 and August 17, he was held under the State of Emergency (SOE) that was in effect at the time.
