(CMR) Jamaican media mogul, Oliver Clarke, died late Saturday night (May 16).
Clarke who recently stepped down as chairman of the RJR-GLEANER Group, had been battling cancer.
He was 75-year-old.
Clarke is most known for being the head of The Gleaner Company, he was at the helm of the organization for over 40 years as chairman and managing director
Born in Kingston in 1944, Clarke was educated at the Sherborne School and London School of Economics.
Clarke is survived by his wife, Monica, and daughter, Maria Alexander.
