(CMR) The body of a hotel manager who went missing last week in St Ann, Jamaica, was found in the trunk of his car Thursday evening, 3 March.
Local reports say Clyde Taylor's body was discovered in the trunk of his 2013 Nissan Note motorcar in Top Hill near Runaway Bay, St Ann, with several chop wounds to the upper torso, including the head.
Taylor was the manager of Fisherman's Point Resort in Ocho Rios.
One man, considered a prime suspect, was picked up before the discovery of the body will face questioning, Senior Superintendent of Police in charge of St Ann Dwight Powell said.
“Since the missing person report, we did a lot of work including a lot of operational response; in the operational response, we managed to pick up a prime suspect,” SSP Powell told reporters.
“We're in the process of looking for another two persons of interest who we believe will be able to assist us with the investigation,” he added.
The body was in a decomposing state and was removed to the morgue.
Taylor was reported missing last Saturday after leaving home to take care of business but did not return home.
