(CMR) Courtney “CJ” Myles, a 30-year-old man employed with the RCIPS in a civilian support role, was arrested as part of an ongoing investigation, and a firearm and ammunition were seized on Wednesday, 1 June.
Police said following the arrest, the firearm and ammunition were recovered during a search of the man’s residence in Newlands. The man and a woman found at the residence during the search have been detained at Cayman Islands Detention Centre as investigations continue.
Myles would be familiar to many in the community as his father, whose name he shares was a long-serving senior police officer with the RCIPS.
