(CMR) Dilson Silva, a painter with the Public Works Department, was found deceased at his residence this weekend.
Police indicate that around 9:00 am they responded to a report in the Randyke Gardens neighborhood of George Town possibly needing their assistance.
It noted that a man was possibly deceased or in need of assistance in his home. When officers responded to the residence and received no response they gained entry and found Silva deceased. Indications are that he had passed away several days prior as no one had heard from him since then. CMR sources indicate that he was on vacation at the time so no one missed him from his workplace.
Silva was in his 60s and is originally from Brazil.
The matter is under police investigation, however, no foul play is suspected at this time.
