(CMR) A 25-year-old man of George Town has been charged with five offenses after he was re-arrested on 17 June in relation to an incident that initially took place on 27 May. The man was arrested on suspicion of possession and consumption of ganja, causing fear or provocation of violence, and other related offenses in May but had been bailed for enquires to continue.
On 17 June, he was re-arrested before being formally charged on 19 June with conspiracy to supply a controlled drug, conspiracy to possess firearms, possession of ammunition, and two counts of threats to kill.
The man was subsequently admitted to George Town Hospital but was represented in court on Monday, 20 June, where he was remanded in custody until 28 June.
