Fundraising efforts have begun to repatriate the body of 32-year-old Eddier Arias-Cordero back to Costa Rica.
He passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 10 whilst exercising at the George Town track next to the Truman Bodden complex of an apparent heart attack.

CMR understand that Arias-Cordero worked at Appliance Guru doing their installations and lived here close to 10 years. A source familiar with him states that he worked hard to support his family including his mother and two sisters after his father passed away several years ago.
From all accounts, he was very well-liked by the local community here. We understand that the cost involved could be substantial for the family that relied on him as their primary breadwinner.
There will be A Thanksgiving Service for the Life of this bright, kind, remarkable nature-loving young man at Kingdom of Victoria International Ministry on McClendon Drive behind Foster's Airport. The service will be on Saturday September 14th, 2019 at 6:30 pm.
Eddier enjoyed swimming and participated in the Flowers Sea Swim.
