(CMR) A total of 14 migrants arrived in Cayman Brac on two separate vessels on Friday and Saturday, the Cayman Islands Customs and Border Control Service (CBC) has confirmed.
CBC said nine migrants, six males, and three females, arrived on a marine vessel in Cayman Brac at approximately 4:15 pm on Friday, 22 April.
In the early hours of the morning on Saturday, 23 April, another marine vessel with five male migrants arrived again.
All migrants are being temporarily held in quarantine in accordance with COVID-19 protocols and will be transported to Grand Cayman once all reception formalities have been completed.
