(CMR) A 15-second video of a massive gator strolling on a golf course in Florida, is the reason behind why the state was trending on Twitter on Thursday (November 12).
Reports are that the gator was actually seen a day earlier at the Valencia Golf & Country Club in the state, and was captured on video by a golfer.
While not strange for those residing in the sunshine state known for it sub tropical climate, which is ideal for alligators and crocodiles, others were alarmed.
“Florida people are built different i'd be so scared,” said one Twitter user who noted how calm the person recording the video sounded.
“Yeah, there's another excellent reason to never go to Florida,” added another.
While others were concerned that people were mistaken noting that the reptile looked more like a baby dinosaur, rather than a large gator.
There were those who were not particularly bothered.
“That's just a harmless swamp cat,” shrugged another on seeing the photo.
“Regular day in Florida,” added another twitter user.
While alligators are often spotted in Florida, Louisiana has the largest alligator population.
