The Deputy Governor’s 5K Challenge – Cayman Brac (DG’s 5K)
Deputy Governor’s 5K Challenge
Every year, The Deputy Governor, Hon. Mr Franz Manderson and the DG’s 5K Planning Committee look forward to hitting the road with the community to raise money for some worthy causes. Fundraising from this year’s DG’s 5K Challenge will contribute to reducing instances of cancer and provide meaningful care and support for those who suffer from serious and debilitating diseases like Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Originally scheduled for April 2020, and postponed twice due to COVID-19, the Cayman Brac Challenge has now been scheduled for 3 April this year. Proceedings are expected to continue as normal, in line with relaxed COVID-19 regulations on outdoor sporting activities effective 18 February 2022.
NOTE:  All participants are encouraged to help us reduce litter and BYOB – bring your own water bottle and there will be water stops along the route.
