Month Long Step Challenge

The Lions Clubs of Tropical Gardens launches its Brenda Tibbetts-Lund Memorial Month-Long Step Challenge, instead of its annual walk/run, Oct 1st to 24th, 2020. Registration is now available on CaymanActive.com for $15. Participants may register beyond Oct 1st, but will not be eligible for prizes. Steps will be tracked on Cayman Active, once participants register for the competition. Participants may register as an individual, a group or a Corporate team. Registration fee of the participants will help the Lions Club of Tropical Gardens provide vouchers for women to receive Mammograms and also support survivors in our community.

Teams with the most average steps will be eligible to win the Corporate Gold Cup inscribed with the Group’s Name. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Medals will be awarded to individuals with the highest steps. All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.

The first 300 registrants will receive a free Fitness Tracker. The fitness tracker distribution on Grand Cayman will take place at the Lions Den, 522 Shedden Road (Next to Mango Tree Restaurant) Mondays and Wednesdays 11am – 6:30pm and on Saturdays 11am to 2pm, starting September 14, 2020.
