Festival of Seas: The Reefs Aglow

A cocktail party to benefit CCMI

Take a night dive on the coral reef and with the help of a special filter, you will be treated to a visual treat – the reefs vibrantly aglow against the darkness of the ocean. It is the phenomenon of biofluorescence that is responsible for this psychedelic display of colour – the process by which corals absorb certain wavelengths of light and emit it as pink or purple light – glowing and providing a serendipitous experience to the underwater explorer. These are the reefs at night. These are the reefs aglow.

Starting with a glow-in-the-dark welcome cocktail on arrival, this fun, lighthearted cocktail party will feature plenty of great food, live music, dancing, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction. Enjoy this opportunity to share a fun and lively evening with others who are passionate about saving coral reefs and who share in our vision of vibrant oceans and healthy coral reefs for the future.
