Domestic Violence Intervention Training

In recognition of 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence, which runs from Nov 25 through Dec 10, the Gender Affairs Unit in partnership with the Family Resource Centre will be hosting several events and training sessions.

From Wednesday, November 30th  through Friday, December 2nd a sensitization training for police officers, social workers, and other frontline professionals will take place. The training is aimed at enhancing local professionals’ capacity in dealing with domestic violence issues.
