DG 5K WALK/RUN (LITTLE CAYMAN) POSTPONED
Little Cayman Deputy Governor’s 5K Challenge Postponed to 1 May. The Deputy Governor’s 5K Challenge (DG’s 5K) event in Little Cayman, originally scheduled for 10 April, has been postponed until 1 May 2022 due to unforeseen circumstances. All existing registrations will remain valid for the new date. The event organizers thank the Little Cayman community for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Please visit the Race Caribbean registration page or the DG's 5K Challenge Facebook for more details on the rescheduled event.
Every year, The Deputy Governor, Hon. Mr Franz Manderson and the DG’s 5K Planning Committee look forward to hitting the road with the community to raise money for some worthy causes. Fundraising from this year’s DG’s 5K Challenge will contribute to reducing instances of cancer and provide meaningful care and support for those who suffer from serious and debilitating diseases like Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Originally scheduled for April 2020, and postponed twice due to COVID-19, the Cayman Brac Challenge has now been scheduled for 3 April this year. Proceedings are expected to continue as normal, in line with relaxed COVID-19 regulations on outdoor sporting activities effective 18 February 2022.
