DEH Food Hygiene Training

The Department of Environmental Health (DEH) is resuming its Food Hygiene training for personnel in the food industry. Registration is now open for new employees and for those whose 3-year certificate has expired.

 Training sessions will be held on Wednesdays between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. from September 6 to December 6, 2023 at the Red Cross facility in Grand Cayman. However, training days may differ somewhat for the Sister Islands as courses will be facilitated on demand.

A registration cost of $15 per person covers all materials and fees should be paid at DEH headquarters, located at 580 North Sound Road, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Interested persons on Cayman Brac and Little Cayman are asked to call 948-2321 to make arrangements. Participants who are registered and have already paid for the course will be given priority.
