(CMR) Minister of Education, Julianna O'Connor-Connolly has been admitted to Faith hospital in Cayman Brac three days after it was confirmed that she tested positive for COVID-19. She will be transferred to the George Town Hospital for observation and treatment.
An RCIPS helicopter will be picking her up Thursday afternoon to transport her to Grand Cayman.
She has been in isolation at her home in the Brac since testing positive over the weekend. Premier Wayne Panton shared in a statement that she was in good spirits and this was a precautionary move “as she requires testing that can only be done here on Grand Cayman.”
He noted that he will continue to pray for her as he continues to encourage people to get vaccinated and ensure they have taken the booster shot if eligible.
