(CMR) A magnitude 5.1 earthquake rattled Antigua and Barbuda and two other Caribbean countries early Friday morning (October 9).
According to a seismic research centre, the quake which occurred shortly after midnight, was felt most 116 kilometres northwest of Antigua and Barbuda, in the capital St. John's.
The quake was also felt in the neighbouring islands of St. Kitts &Nevis and Guadalupe.
Information from the centre reported that the earthquake occurred at latitude: 17.98N and longitude: 62.44W at a depth of 10 kilometres.
There have been no immediate reports of damage.
