(CMR) 30-year-old Jamaican Sekou Litchmore AKA DJ Mario Brukbad Gunz, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after he stabbed another 29-year-old part-time DJ Sunday night right by the DJ booth inside a local bar.
Litchmore works at Everglo Bar on Seymour Drive, George Town where the incident took place. The altercation appears to be over the music selection for the evening.
Police have confirmed that just before midnight on 2nd January, they were dispatched to a report of a stabbing that took place at the Everglo Bar on Seymour Drive, George Town where a man was said to have received several stab wounds during an altercation involving another man.
The injured man was transported to the hospital by a private vehicle where he is being treated for what is believed to serious and life-threatening injuries but is currently in a stable condition. CMR has been exclusively informed that the injured man was recovering from at least 4 stab wounds after he had surgery on Monday morning.
Litchmore has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in police custody pending further investigation. Litchmore worked at several establishments on island according to his social media pages including most recently Everglo Bar.
