(CMR) A forensic pathologist is arriving tomorrow to conduct the post-mortem examination of Errol George Grey (42) who died on Father's Day after a bloody domestic dispute at a residence in West Bay.
The incident left four persons hurt including two minor children and their mother. The children have both been released from the hospital. The mother remains in stable condition at the hospital.
Detectives say they are relying on the forensic specialist to assist them with ascertaining what happened that day as the victim indicated the decease's wounds were self inflicted. The house remains cordoned off pending a complete investigation.
Cayman Marl Road received video footage from earlier that day showing the deceased enjoying the company of his friends and having a few drinks. Ironically at one point he can be heard saying “he's in the right place”.
There were also a number of photos circulating showing that the couple was enjoying themselves earlier in the day drinking together.
As previously reported Grey is a father of two and worked in the construction industry in Cayman. Grey was the first violent death of 2019.
