Spence blames CMR for immigration conviction

February 26, 2018

(CMR) Convicted immigration officer Phaedra Spence sent a series of voice notes this afternoon blaming CMR and social media coverage for her conviction.

The lengthy immigration trial came to an end last week and saw a jury convict all seven persons of various offenses after they were accused of assisting foreign nationals pass the required English test. Spence has been the only defendant to reach out to CMR on numerous occasions regarding her the charges. Her first set of messages were sent in March 2018 when it was reported that the parties had been arrested.

In her latest set of messages she has sent Facebook administrators over 10 audio notes blaming her conviction on CMR and states that the mind of the jury was turned against her and the other defendants because of coverage.

Her initial message claims she was found not guilty and that “three were charged with not guilty”. However, by the fifth message she then states that she was found guilty of something; but doesn’t specify what.

The initial CMR post did not detail all of numerous offenses by person by simply that ALL parties were found guilty – which remains the case. In fact, the initial post did not even name the convicted parties and CMR received negative comments for not naming them. This was merely an administrative situation as the administrator responsible for uploading the story was doing so remotely from a phone. The story clearly stated that it was a developing story and would be updated as is customary on this site.

Shortly thereafter, we received confirmation of the breakdown of the conviction and it was posted accordingly. It was alleged that Spence has a personal relationship with the man said to be the ring leader of the operation.

She also made threats to page administrators about chopping them up to pieces, wiping their faces and wishes that their parents had thrown “their nigerette baby” away.

CMR Facebook page has several administrators and the matter has now been reported to the police for action.
