(CMR) Accused Cassandra Jasmine Ebanks pleaded guilty Friday to theft charges related to her former workplace, Cayman Dental between March 2018 and November 2018.
She faced multiple charges for theft, forgery and uttering a forged document. Despite pleading guilty to theft; she did not accept stealing CI$100,000 that the police have her charged with.
She pleaded not guilty to the other charges which allegedly relate to 35 bank checks.
Ebanks was released on bail on the condition that she does not contact her former employer and that she surrender her passport.
A judge-alone trial has been scheduled for November 4, 2019.
