(CMR) Several high school students in the Cayman Islands were among the top performers in various subject areas in the 2020 Caribbean Secondary Examination Council (CSEC) exams.
Former head girl of Clifton Hunter High School Ruby Pileta attained a joint top performance in the Caribbean for Physics, placing first with A ratings in all profile.
In EDPM, Clifton Hunter students held 13 of the 15 ranked positions across the Caribbean, with Hailey Ebanks and Deidre Edwards tying for first. Kayana Blake and Chloe McClymont tied for third place. Three students tied for fifth place: Swishanie Lewis, Meisha McDermott, and Paige Thomas.
Xairia Robinson-Fernandez was ranked eighth while five students tied in ninth place. They are Amanda Chin, Iain Hemmings, Shaelynne Lewis, Kareisha Nelson, and Shaqkeen Williams.
John Gray High School's Kalia Picard was the top student in the region in Office Administration. She was also among the top places in Principles of Business, sharing 10th position. Aria Gooden, also of John Gray High, was second in Office Administration.
