(CMR) As part of the process to build a new 5-year strategic plan, the Cayman Islands Red Cross (CIRC) is conducting an online information gathering and feedback survey.
The survey will provide valuable feedback on the work of the Cayman Islands Red Cross and insights on what areas they should focus their efforts on in the next five years and the community’s perceptions of unmet needs.
The CIRC will distribute the 5-minute survey to stakeholders via their email database and encourage the wider community and general public to respond. A link to the survey can be found on the website at https://redcross.org.ky/ or on their social media channels on Facebook and Instagram.
For six decades, the Cayman Islands Red Cross (CIRC) has been committed to helping communities and vulnerable individuals in crisis and building a sustainable, resilient community.
Jondo Obi, Director, Cayman Islands Red Cross, said: “The CIRC has concentrated efforts on improving communities and creating a better environment for residents.
“As we plan for the next five years, your feedback will help us towards developing initiatives that benefit Cayman. Help us by completing our short survey so we know what areas to focus our attention on.”
The Cayman Islands Red Cross is also currently celebrating its’ 60th anniversary. Businesses, community groups, schools, and individuals are all encouraged to #PaintCaymanRed, with all donations and proceeds going to support CIRC community programs. The CIRC works in partnership with agencies such as HMCI in disaster preparedness and response, as well as the RCIPS, HSA, and the Ministry of Education in its child protection efforts, and have played an important role in responding to the pandemic.
Jondo Obi also said: “The work of the Cayman Islands Red Cross over the course of the last 60 years has been very important for society as a whole. The work we are doing now to help us plan for the next 5-years, such as this survey, will help ensure we are still making a positive impact and helping local communities in another 60 years.”
