(CMR) Home owners in North Side are raising the alarm for residents island wide that they are concerned about what they perceive as an increase in residential burglaries in the district.
Three men attempted to burglarize a house in North Side on Sunday night around 11:53 pm. Home owners are asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating them.
The men attempted to gain access to the home; which is under construction but were unsuccessful in doing so. They drove their vehicle to the vacant lot next door to the property and attempted to gain access for almost one hour before leaving. The police and security company went through the footage in detail and the three individuals were carrying crowbars and lock cutters. We understand that CID were processing the scene and attempting to left fingerprints and other forensic evidence.
One of the three men did not have his face covered and residents are hopeful that the public might be able to identify him.
