(CMR) Corey Brown (32) from Cayman Brac was arrested on Tuesday, 6 August with over 1200 lbs of ganga worth at least $1 million CI dollars.
He has since been charged appeared in court today on charges of Importation of Ganja and Possession of Ganja.
Details are that just before 10:00 pm on Tuesday the Joint Marine Unit consisting of officers from the RCIPS and CBC, along with the Air Operations Unit were on border patrol duties.
About 11 miles off the shore of East End and within the Cayman Islands jurisdictional waters, the AOU spotted a boat that had one occupant and what appeared to be several packages on board.
