(CMR) The Cayman Bayanihan Filipino Community (CBFC) hosted their annual Christmas Extravaganza on Sunday, December 27 at the Lions Center.
The audience was treated to a night filled with musical performances, dance, prizes, and a recycled Christmas lantern competition. The group shared that the event
“It’s an evening event being hosted by our group with our goal in bringing people from the local community together to give them inspiration and joy during the Christmas Season and to talk also about what our non-profit organization is hoping to achieve with our various programs and activities.”
There were numerous winners for the prizes they had available for the evening from sponsors including a 32″ Samsung TV and a $1,500 grand cash prize. ASIA Dance Crew one the group dance competition. Ms. Menchie Lindsay won the lantern competition with her star named COVID -19. The singer performer of the night was Ernest Ullamot who sand Cuando, Cuando, Cuando with an infectious energy that had the audience completely engaged.
CMR's Sandy Hill was one of five judges for the various categories.
