(CMR) Cayman Airways has announced that it is waiving change fees ahead of Hurricane Dorian’s projected path towards Florida. Dorian could grow to a CAT 3 hurricane by the time it makes landfall on the main land this Labor Day weekend.
Due to the projected path of Hurricane Dorian, Cayman Airways Limited (CAL) will be waiving change fees and fare differences for passengers who wish to cancel their flight reservations for travel between the Cayman Islands and Miami and Tampa.
The waiver applies to those passengers who are holding ticketed reservations made on or before August 28, 2019 for travel between August 30, 2019 and September 3, 2019.
Travel for changed flight segments may be rebooked by September 3, 2019 for travel no later than September 16, 2019. Refunds are not allowed on non-refundable tickets.
