(CMR) Shortly before 5:30 pm yesterday evening (November 12) Shaquille DeMario Bush (24) was gunned down close to his residence on Daisy Lane West Bay (Boatswains Bay area) after receiving multiple gunshot wounds. Detectives have launched a murder investigation into the homicide.
The paramedics who attended the scene began CPR on the man who displayed no signs of life when they arrived. Their efforts to revive the man proved futile, and he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident occurred during the evening time between 5:00 pm and 5:30 pm. The area was dimly lit with natural light and detectives believe that there may have been persons in and around the area at the time that the shooting occurred with information that could assist the investigation. CMR understands that Bush was violently gunned down and shot at least five times. Eyewitnesses at the scene have shared that they felt that the assailant would have been someone known to the victim. Bush lived at the end of Daisy Lane. That portion of the road is a small one way dead end street that only accommodate one vehicle at a time.
