Justice Magnatal (52) had plead guilty today to DUI and careless driving and was fined $600.00 and received a 12 month driving disqualification.
She was just placed on leave last week by the Chief Justice after being formally charged on March 5.
The Grand Court judge was arrested on 4 September on suspicion of drunk driving and careless driving after a single-vehicle accident on West Bay Road, in the vicinity of the Lime Tree Bay Road.
The judge was the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle when it collided with a wall. She received minor injuries that did not require hospital treatment. No other vehicles were damaged and no one was harmed in the collision.
No word yet on if and when she will return on the bench.
