(CMR) Prime Minister Andrew Holness indicated late this afternoon that he will be closing Jamaica's air and seaports to any further incoming passenger traffic after the country confirmed its 19th coronavirus case. The closure will begin tomorrow Saturday, March 21, at 11:59 p.m.
The decision is being made to attempt to contain the spread of the virus and will last for some initial 14 days.
Outgoing passenger and cargo will be allowed.
