(CMR) The Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park will be hosting a fundraising Easter Art Camp in collaboration with Joseph Betty ART and Jernat Transportation. Funds raised from the camp will benefit the continued development of the Children’s Garden attractions.
The camp will be held on April 3rd, 6th, 7th, and 8th, allowing families to be engaged over the religious holidays while offering the camp to children on school break.
“Children ages six to 12 years old are welcome to attend, and toddlers to 5-year-olds are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian,” said Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park General Manager, John Lawrus.
The Easter Art Camp, which will allow children to learn more about local and international botany, will be held from 10 am to 1 pm each day and will cost CI$50 per child for each workshop.
Transportation will be provided daily with free pick-up from the George Town Library at 8 am, the lot at Royal Bank of Canada in Red Bay at 8:30 am, and from the Bodden Town Public Beach at 8:50 am.
“Parents are asked to note spaces are limited with a minimum of eight children required for workshops to take place. We are also limiting the classes to a maximum of 12 children per workshop to ensure a fun day of learning for all,” added Mr. Lawrus.
