(CMR) A 20-year-old man from Bodden Town was arrested on suspicion of rape after he reportedly sexually assaulted a female in a car in East End last week.
Police reports are that shortly before 9:45 pm on Wednesday, 20 April, officers responded to a report of a sexual assault at an address on Sea View Road, East End. It was reported that a man and woman had been in a vehicle at the location when the man engaged in sexual acts with the woman.
The man, who is known to the woman, was arrested on suspicion of rape. He has been bailed with strict conditions pending further investigation, and appropriate safeguarding measures have been put in place for the victim.
