(CMR) A boat with seven dead male bodies was found drifting in Grenada's waters on Sunday, 12 December, by a local fisherman. Authorities are now trying to determine the identity of the dead people and the origin of the vessel.
According to Now Grenada, officers assigned to the Northern Division responded to a report of a drifting vessel in the vicinity of Gun Point, Carriacou. The boat was retrieved and towed to Harvey Vale by the Grenada Coast Guard, where seven adult male bodies were discovered in a decomposed state.
Specialized units of the country's police force were reportedly analyzing personal effects and devices found onboard the vessel, following which a comprehensive update will be provided.
