(CMR) There were two positive COVID-19 tests results since last reported on Friday. As of 10 a.m. Saturday, 18 September, one traveler and one child who is one of the final people to be screened at George Town Primary School tested positive.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 1,246 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since last reported on Friday, 17 September 2021.
There have been 105,158 COVID-19 vaccinations given in total in the Cayman Islands. A total of 54,500 persons (77% of an estimated population of 71,106) have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and 50,658 persons (71%) have completed the two-dose course.
