(CMR) Police are now investigating two armed robberies on Shedden Road. The first robbery occurred early Monday morning, 13 December, when a woman was robbed by two armed men.
The police are now investigating a second robbery which took place a day later was. Police reports are that just after 7:10 pm, on Tuesday 14 December, they responded to the Archie’s Bar located on Shedden Road where it was reported that two persons at the location were victims of an armed robbery.
When the officers arrived, both victims had left the location by private vehicle. One of the victims attended the hospital due to injuries sustained to his upper body. The injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening and he was later discharged.
Officers were informed that two masked men, approached the victims one brandished a knife, the other a firearm and demanded money and valuables. It is believed that the men made off on foot in an unknown direction, with a quantity of cash.
