(CMR) Several burglars attempted to break into the Cayman Leasing office Wednesday, December 12th at 12:47 am on Hospital Road for the second time this year.
The would be burglars were scared off by the alarm system but caught on CCTV footage. Police arrived shortly afterwards to discover they had made a speedy exit. However, the owners are looking for any tips that could lead the arrest of the persons involved.
Earlier in the year five men attempted to break into the officers and have been identified as the same persons involved in the theft of Caybrew's charity money.
The burglars are unaware that no money is kept at the location but the damage they have caused in an attempt to access the premise is causing distress. Cayman Leasing is asking the community to come forward with any tips that would assist in the arrest of these persons.
After the initial burglary attempt security systems was upgraded and a good description of the two suspects can be seen in the video footage below. The footage shows the suspects climbing over the wall where at least one has no gloves on. The first one walks with his hands in his pocket and is walking towards the leasing office. He is wearing a grey hoodie with a dark colored face covering. His jeans have a design on the back pocket of his quarter length jean shorts. He is also sporting some white Nike shoes with a red Nike symbol on them.
The second suspect is seen climbing over the wall with gloves in his back pocket. He is wearing a burgundy and grey stropped shirt, white cap and white face covering. Once they notice the cameras the second suspect then takes gloves out of his back pocket and puts them on. They appear to be workmen style gloves often used by gardeners. He also also wearing a blue wristband and tan colored shoes with partially faded denim jeans. He also appears to have some sort of a tattoo on his arm.
They proceed to look at a potential access point. Both appear to be a medium brown complexion.
