The CIPL also invites novice computer users and seniors aged 60+ to ‘Typing 101′, an introduction to basic typing and keyboarding skills. Participants will be required to attend two 3.5-hour sessions, which will take place at George Town Library on Friday, 26 May 2023, and Friday, 2 June, from 8:30 am-12 pm.
“Typing 101 is a response to demands from previous attendees of the Library's Computer Basics and Computer Essentials courses who requested additional training to increase their typing skills. To facilitate the demands, the Library has partnered with Innovative Management and Professional Training (IMPT) to offer this essential training for our valued patrons,” Mr. Goring said.
He continued, “All seniors and beginners are welcome to attend. Admission is free. However, space is limited, so register early to reserve a seat.”
