(CMR) Cayman Brac resident Lisandro Tejeda Almaguer (40) is facing multiple charges, including three counts of harassment and one count of common assault, following two incidents last month.
According to the RCIPS, in the first incident, which occurred on Friday, 3 March, Almaguer was reportedly involved in a dispute with other persons when he brandished a pair of knives and made threats against them.
He has been charged with two counts of Carrying an Offensive Weapon and three counts of Harassment, Alarm, or Distress in relation to this incident.
In the second incident, which happened on 27 March, it was reported that Almaguer assaulted another man and brandished a machete at him.
He has been charged with one count of Common Assault, one count of Carrying an Offensive Weapon, and one count of Harassment, Alarm or Distress in relation to this incident.
He appeared in court in Cayman Brac yesterday, 27 April, and the matter was adjourned until the next court sitting.
