(CMR) As part of its commitment to ensuring the overall well-being of its team, the Cayman Islands Coast Guard has partnered with the Cayman Islands Department of Counseling to create a program that supports them should they encounter situations that increase the likelihood of post-traumatic stress and anxiety.
The CICG believes this will boost morale and increase productivity among members.
“By prioritizing our employees' well-being, we can help reduce absenteeism and turnover rates, increase job satisfaction, and ultimately improve productivity and success for the organization,” the CICG said.
The organization has expressed its appreciation to the Cayman Islands Department of Counseling for its unwavering commitment to supporting the personnel and providing them with access to its support services.
“We are proud to have taken this step towards prioritizing our employees' overall well-being, and we hope that other organizations will follow suit and prioritize the overall well-being of their teams,” the CICG stated.
