(CMR) Police are investigating a serious assault incident that is believed to have taken place in an abandoned house in the Windsor Park area on Sunday, 16 April.
The RCIPS reports that just before 6 am on Sunday, 16 April, police and other emergency services were dispatched by 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of a serious assault incident that was said to have taken place in the Windsor Park area of George Town.
It was reported that a man who sustained several stab wounds to his upper body was assisted by a member of the public to the hospital by private vehicle. The wounded man is currently being treated at the hospital for serious injuries but is believed to be stable at this time.
The circumstances of this serious assault incident are being investigated by the police, and detectives are encouraging anyone with information to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
