(CMR) Residents from Newlands and Savannah took advantage of a recent gardening class hosted in their community in partnership with the Department of Agriculture.
According to Premier Wayne Panton and MP for Newlands, the class filled up quickly, an indication many residents enjoy gardening and are even growing their own food.
“This is all part of our continuing educational series for our residents. This month we have two more classes coming up, one on eating healthy and the other a third offering of the Financial Peace University personal finance class, details coming soon,” he stated in a social media post.
Financial Peace University is a nine-lesson money Management class taught by America’s financial guru, Dave Ramsey.
Mr. Panton also invites ideas from his constituents about other programs they would like in their community.
